Li'aam raised an eyebrow as if he doubted this, but gulped again instead and shook his head as he walked off towards his own home. He headed around a bend in the path, past several houses that had a sort of grown-into-the-forest look, mostly elf houses sung out of trees, but a few that had just been there so long that the forest had actually grown into them somewhat. He headed though a small archway of woven vines and branches, along the neat packed-earth path, and quickly up a set of stairs set out of different sized rocks in surprisingly vibrant shades of gray, to a neat wooden door with a single small round window in the center, paned with pastel colored Glassleaves. He pushed open the door and stepped inside his humble home. This room, the main room, was furnished with detailed yet naturally simple pieces of wood and stone that acted as table, chairs, washbasin, counters, and cupboards. A small curved stairway in the back led up to a loft where Li'aam slept and stored many things, and there were two other windows on either side of the room, each round and paned the same as the window on the door. The room was quite clean, though evidence of tinkering showed on a small workbench in the back, and a few crumbs dotted the intricately woven tablecloth that was draped over the round table in the middle of the room, centered by a slightly wilted vase of colorful flowers. Li'aam headed to the food preparing counter on the east side of the room, and pulled two knives and a cutting board from a shelf overhead. He quickly and efficiently cleaned and quartered the few small animals he had caught earlier that day, and, rolling them in curing salt from a bag in the cupboard overhead, placed them neatly in a wooden barrel to the side of the counter, to be stored there until he desired to cook them for a meal. [XD I just realized Li'aam must be a kinda unique elf to be killing and eating animals XD] He then stepped sideways to the next workstation, the washbasin, where he cleaned up what little mess he had made cleaning the animals, and then stepped back and gave a sigh. With that chore out of the way, it was time for him to go help Aisubi with the Yal baking, which he was still regretting volunteering to help with. He wiped of the table, just to take up some extra time, and gave a last longing glance at the worktable in the back, as if he wished he could be tinkering instead, then headed out the front door, straightening his clothes of green, gray and brown woven fabric, in the direction of Aisubi's house.
